The girls wanted to get in on the time-lapse video deal so I made these videos of them. Show them some love!

Kalam is 10 years old, loves to sing, draw and perform. I particularly like the freckles and the bold red background.

Sylaris is also 10 years old, loves to drum, draw and dance hip hop. I love the little “me” label and the fact that she penciled it our before finalizing in Sharpie.

My amazing sister sent these to me a few weeks ago and it has taken me forever to share them. These are… (wait for it) her very first 3 doodles… EVER! I can’t stand it. And I can’t wait to see what else she comes up with. Since she’s a card-maker, I am envisioning sparkly doodles in layers of prettily (is that a word?) cut papers and stamps. Challenge accepted, Gianna?

The challenge went out to hundreds of doodlers in the Facebook group, For the Love of Doodling, to create their own version of this doodle. I’m so happy to share the great variety of results!

I love every one of them and am honored you liked this challenge enough to participate and share! Comment below if there’s another doodle on this site you’d like to see a tutorial, prompt or challenge for.

Sara just happens to be one of our amazing photography clients. We’ve photographed her a couple of times now and absolutely love her and her mom! As I was scrolling through Instagram, I stumbled upon this drawing of hers and just had to share it with you. She’s not just a model and actress, she’s an artist too. 🙂

She’s my #1 inspirational artist! Thank you, Shannie, for sharing these with me so I can share them with the world. I love her style. I love that our styles are so different yet she’s the one who got me into it. And when I lose inspiration and get tired of doodling the same things over and over, I spend a week at her house, watching her doodle in her own style, and I’m ready to go again.

Check it out! My niece and nephews (ages 6-9) have taken up doodling! With a little coaching, here’s what they came up with. Aren’t they amazing little doodle sketchers?
From youngest to oldest (and I’ve been asked to make it clear that the oldest hasn’t finished his…) Here they are:

I just love having guest doodlers on my blog so I can share other styles with you. Tanya, my sister, just recently started doodling and, as always happens fairly early on, she’s developed a style that’s so “her.” Do you have a favorite? I do!
