It’s almost March! Holy cow, where is the time going? I need a few more days in every month.

Reminders

If you’ve been following my color schemes for the last few months, you’re probably getting into the groove. Here are some brief reminders so I don’t overload you with the same details every month.

These color schemes are suggestions. Experiment. Come up with your own. Fall back on mine if you’re out of inspiration. Change them up a bit if you want. I’ve listed colors in order from “use this the most” to “use this as an accent” from top to bottom. Have fun!

Get The Book

If you haven’t purchased the book yet, it’s not too late! Find it on Amazon for $9.50. Use it purely as a coloring book, make use of the calendar or record your favorite thing from every day as a journal.

Feedback

I want to know what’s working for you and what isn’t with the coloring book calendar as well as the color schemes. Is the book size practical? Are the calendar day blocks big enough? Is there anything missing you wish were there? Are the color scheme suggestions working for you? Comment below with your thoughts so I can make the next one better.

Have you found peace in coloring this month? I have. And I’ve certainly needed it. Sheesh.

Below are my color schemes suggestions for the February doodles in my 2017 Weekly Planner Doodle Art Coloring Book (available on Amazon for $9.50). If your colors are more limited than my palette, try blending pencils or simplifying the colors to basics—lavendar becomes purple, burgundy becomes red, etc. The resulting color scheme won’t always be as appealing, but experiment! These aren’t rules. They’re inspiration. ^____^

New! I started listing the colors from “use this the most” to “use this as just an accent” from top to bottom. Again, suggestion. Free your mind. Do your thang. Share it with me. I mean us. Please.

I’ve been using my calendar as a journal. How about you? What are you using yours for?

I drew this with a Sharpie in my new Kraft paper sketchpad. When I had everything drawn except the wind at the top left, I showed it to my husband and said, “Something’s missing. What does it need?” He suggested the wind. This is why I keep him around.

And because I got such instantaneous rave reviews from my family and friends (I love you guys), I posted it on Society6.com. Enjoy.
